Hi Kevin. I was looking for a way to use up a lot of smoked pork loin that we have and stumbled across your recipe. I have never tried to make bahn mi at home, and your recipe looked like something we could tackle. I reheated the sliced pork loin in your teriyaki sauce–that was a good idea. Then we whipped up the rest of the ingredients and made our sandwiches. DELICIOUS!! We all loved it. My teenage son kept asked what the name of our sandwiches was. I think the combination of all the elements makes this so delectable. MMMMM!! Thank you for sharing this recipe. We’ll definitely make them again. Perfect combination of spicy, sweet, crunchy, and filling!

This was simple and delicious! I found the marinted pork at Albertson’s and it was very tasty. The seasonings were absolutely on point and I will add this to my go to recipes. The only thing different I did was put the rolls in the oven for a few minutes to get a nice crunch on the roll.

Kevin, I have been jonesing for Bahn Mi ever since K Sandwiches burned down! I tried this last night and it really hit the spot. I was concerned that half the delight of Bahn Mi was the horrible meat filling, but it was downright tasty with tenderloin! One thing that I could have done better was use a very fresh French roll or baguette, rather than day old. My bad. The pickled vegetables, Sriracha mayo and zing of fresh jalapenos was spot on. Thank you for posting this one!
I plan to try your Bacon wrapped Sriricha Carrots fot Christmas!
