I read the note about using a half a tsp less of ground spices if not using whole, after I mixed them all. Used them on my ribs, I trust they’ll still be good. Using apple cider instead of juice. Should be yummy.

I don’t think you did anything wrong if you followed the recipe card instructions David. I’m thinking its more of a personal preference.

I made this and it was great, but my wife commented that she wished that the ingredients “blended better together”. I somewhat agreed – I could somehow taste some of the individual components of the dry rub. Any ideas on why this was? I wonder if I did something wrong.
