I placed the entire thing on a rimmed baking sheet tray into the grill on the grates. I also went back to review the video and don’t see anywhere where I placed on grates? Maybe you saw another video? Enjoy Christina!

It doesn’t state in directions but I see your video so just not sure.

Awesome flavor. I was only able to marinate for about four hours but it still came out really good. I used standard chili powder but it was fine

Figure each pound of pork feeding 3 people, so depending on how much you serve per person this 5 pound recipe serve anywhere between 12-15 people. Hope this helps!

Not too sure as I have never owned one myself. I looked at them online after reading this and I would probably lean towards either the electric of propane.

I realise this might come late as this has been up for a while, but I want to try it.
So in regards to the servings, may I again ask, for 5 pounds which is 2.27kg, you get 12 tacos ie servings? It’s a lot of meat, no? But then again, I’m still gaining experience with amounts and people..going to do this with a bunch of Croatian meat lovers and dont want to make too little..hahaha

was wondering what is the best size you would recommend to purchase for an occassional backyard party with a gathering of family &/or friends? how much is considered to be a reasonable serving size. yes I know, most want /can eat more than they need, but what is considered a good size.
Thank you
Carol

Mexico is a place we often go to. al pastor tacos is a favorite of many of us. Wanting to purchase a vertical oven. trying to decide between the authentic wood chip, manual , propane gas or electric. the wood chip is probably last choice as far as ease, but wondering about the differences and final product of the other options. what are the pros and cons of the other methods? thank you
